General Terms and Conditions for the purchase of tickets
§ 1 Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between participants and inQ.Politics GmbH, represented by the managing directors, with its registered office at Berlin, Germany, as the organizer of the "Political Tech Summit" on January 25, 2024, in Berlin (hereinafter referred to as “inQ”).
§ 2 Registration/Ticket Purchase
1. Registration to participate in the Political Tech Summit is done online through the ticket service provider "pretix" (rami.io GmbH, Berthold-Mogel-Straße 1, 69126 Heidelberg, Germany).
2. After successful registration, participants will receive a confirmation email. The contract between the participant and inQ is established upon receipt of this confirmation.
§ 3 Participation Costs
1. The participation costs will be clearly displayed on the ticket booking page. The specified amount includes digital participation in the Political Tech Summit and is inclusive of VAT and other applicable fees.
2. inQ will issue an invoice for the participation fee via the service provider pretix. The fees must be paid immediately or within 14 working days after receiving the invoice, depending on the chosen payment method.
§ 4 Event Changes
1. inQ reserves the right to reschedule the event, substitute different speakers, or make last-minute changes to the programme. In case of rescheduling, the contract applies to the new date unless the participant objects within two weeks of being notified. Participants will be informed of this right in the notification. There will be no reduction in the agreed price.
2. If there is a significant reason, particularly the unavailability of speakers or organizing staff, inQ may cancel the event and terminate the contract. In this case, mutual performance obligations cease, and any participation fees already paid will be refunded. Further claims by participants are excluded.
3. inQ will inform participants promptly about any changes to the event schedule or its cancellation through the available communication channels.
§ 5 Withdrawal/Cancellation
Withdrawal or cancellation of ticket purchases is excluded according to § 312g, para. 2, no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
§ 6 Liability
1. inQ is fully liable under statutory provisions for:
a) damages arising from injury to life, body, or health caused by the negligent or intentional breach of duty by inQ, its legal representatives, or vicarious agents;
b) damages under the Product Liability Act;
c) damages caused by intent or gross negligence or in the event of a guarantee.
2. For slight negligence, inQ is only liable if an essential contractual obligation (a so-called "cardinal obligation") has been breached. Cardinal obligations are those whose performance is necessary for the proper execution of the contract and on which the other party can regularly rely. Liability in such cases is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage.
3. Any further liability of inQ is excluded, including tort claims or claims for reimbursement of futile expenses. The above limitation of liability also applies to the personal liability of legal representatives, employees, or vicarious agents of inQ.
4. Claims by participants expire after one year unless based on intentional conduct by the legal representatives of inQ, its vicarious agents, or employees.
§ 7 Image and Audio Recordings
1. inQ reserves the right to prohibit recordings of the event, such as live streaming or the provision of content on other platforms.
2. For the purpose of public reporting on the event and inQ’s own public relations, inQ or its authorized third parties (e.g., media) may independently create image and audio recordings that include participants. These recordings may be processed, utilized, and publicly reproduced according to Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
§ 8 Data Protection
inQ uses the personal data collected during ticket purchases for the purpose of contract execution and – if separately consented to – for marketing and advertising purposes. In some cases, data may be transferred to third parties (e.g., ticketing provider pretix) for these purposes.
§ 9 Consumer Revocation Rights
There is no right of revocation for consumers. According to § 312g, para. 2, no. 9 BGB, there is no right of revocation for the purchase of tickets for scheduled events. Ticket orders are binding and oblige the buyer to accept and pay for the tickets.

We will not participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board under the Consumer Dispute Settlement Act (VSBG) and are not obligated to do so.

1. Any side agreements must be made in writing.
2. Deviating Terms and Conditions of the participants shall have no validity.
3. The place of jurisdiction for business transactions with merchants, legal entities under public law, or special public-law funds is the registered office of inQ, Berlin, Germany.
Code of Conduct for the Political Tech Summit
The Political Tech Summit aims to bring together Political Professionals from across the world and promotes cross-border development of the Political Tech ecosystem. We provide a high-quality space for matching Political Tech market supply and demand with expertise and hands-on tech solutions.
We are committed to fostering an open, inclusive, and respectful environment. All participants, speakers, and partners are required to respect the values of equality, non-discrimination, and tolerance. We do not tolerate any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior. This includes, but is not limited to, discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, physical ability, or religion.
As an organization based in Germany, we uphold the principles of democracy and international law, as well as the values enshrined in the German Constitution. This includes the freedom of expression, the right to information, media independence, and the protection of personal rights.
Our actions are guided by human rights standards and principles derived from the German Constitution and international human rights treaties. The respect for these fundamental values extends to both the content and any statements made before, during, and after the Political Tech Summit.
We are mindful of the potential unintended impacts of our actions on the ecological environment, the protection of vital resources (such as climate protection and biodiversity), and human rights and remain attentive to these effects. Integrity, respect for the democratic order and its rules, and tolerance for different points of view form the basis for constructive and fair discussions and lay the foundation for bringing together the best ideas, people and concepts at the Political Tech Summit.
Violations of this Code of Conduct, including the failure to uphold these fundamental values in any statements or content, may result in immediate removal from the event without a refund of ticket costs. Our goal is to create a safe space where all participants can experience the Summit in a positive and productive atmosphere.
